In December 2008, three born and raised Coloradans, Steve Shaw, Alan Laughlin, and Jim Shaw, became the new owners of Black-eyed Pea Colorado. When they purchased the company, they had a few things in mind; continue with their favorite homestyle favorites and classics from Black-eyed Pea, integrate new and exciting menu items, and make sure that you have an enjoyable experience and great food every time you visit a local Black-eyed Pea.

Black Forest Meadery

Our winery is nestled in the Black Forest in Colorado across from the Airforce Academy and close to Garden of the Gods. The company was created in August 12th, 2007. The winery is owned operated by the Shapiro family.

Boulder Beer Co

In 1979 two professors at the University of Colorado received the 43rd brewing license issued in the United States, creating Boulder Beer Company, Colorado’s First Microbrewery. The original site of the brewery was a small farm northeast of Boulder, the brew house sharing space in a shed originally housing a few goats!

Dry Dock Brewing

Dry Dock Brewing Company was founded in October 2005 when owners Michelle and Kevin DeLange leased an 800 sq ft space next to their homebrew shop, The Brew Hut, in Aurora, CO. The tiny brewery quickly got people’s attention the next spring when Dry Dock won Gold at the 2006 World Beer Cup for its HMS Victory ESB (now Amber Ale).

Grateful Bread Company is a local, family-owned Denver bakery. We make Noosa with milk from Morning Fresh Dairy, right on site at their farm in Bellvue, Colorado. Family-owned and operated since 1894, Morning Fresh is locally renowned for the sweet, rich, all natural milk their happy cows produce. To lightly sweeten our Noosa Finest Yoghurt, we use the amazingly pure-tasting, golden Clover Alfalfa honey from Colorado’s Beeyond the Hive, family-owned since 1908.

The Real Dill

Justin Park & Tyler DuBoishad each been making pickles on their own, just for fun. Good friends, they would share their goods with each other, comparing notes. After exchanging recipes for a while they finally made a batch together with fresh ingredients from Tyler’s garden. The batch led to a “pickle epiphany.”

White Buffalo Kitchen

At White Buffalo Kitchen we believe in real food for real people. Our honey sweets are hand crafted using local Colorado honey and all natural ingredients. Preservatives, artificial colors and flavors have no place in our products and are never used.
